Wordy is worse

Students are also worried about their long assignments. When they are given papers more than 4 pages, they always think that would be too long for them. To finish long essays, people like to repeat things again and again to fill up the papers. That makes papers boring. To write a long essay, what students should do is to expand their theses instead of repeating. As a result, instructors always expect their students to tighten their wordy senntences. That helps to give more information because readers can understand in shorter time. Instuctors can also see the improvement students have made through the tighten wordy sentences.

The glass castle to Jeannette

The glass castle was one of the most important things in Jeannette life. That was kind of the only good motion of her father doing for his kids, but even Jeannette who had the most faith in him did not believe in it anymore. When Jeannette told her dad that she did not believe in the glass castle, it was the point that Jeannette had no more faith in him. Just like Jeannette's father said on page 230, the family is falling apart, so did the unreal fragile glass castle dream, and so did the faith of Jeannette in her father.

I thought Jeannette Wall was a strong girl. Although she suffered so many struggles, she did not really complain her parents and her life. She was always finding a way to make her life work well. When her father told her they would start their glass castle at their poor house, she really did what she could do to help build the glass castle, such as digging a big hole to help the foundation. Although the hole ended up filling garbage, Jeannette did what she could to make things work.

Jeannette Wall might feel that her life was bad. She liked to have things and she knew her family is lack of money. When she knew one women in the town is whore, she did not think that she is dirty. The first thing came in her mind was that did whoring make easy money? That really reflected that little Jeannette knew that money was important to her.

The time Jeannette's father let her down

Jeannette's father always have Jeannette's faith althouth he often let her down. When Jeannette turned ten, she asked her father to stop drinking as a birthday present. Her dad seemed like he was stopping drinking. He tried so hard that he belted him self in bedroom and kept kids away from him. Jeannette still had faith of that he would stop drinking but he ended up drinking again and beating Jeannette's mom. That was one of times Jeannette's let Jeannette down.

The thing I can fix in my paper "Painting on the Wall"

My paper "Painting on the Wall" is talking about how an advertisement tries to scare people to stop global warming. I really have a lot of comments on this and I try to put all on the paper, but it does not come out well. I think I should explain some points deeper. My third paragraph is short and not clear. I talk about the sunshine and the person in the advertisement. I should develop more like how I come out with my thought instead of just shouting my thought out. Also, in my sixth paragraph, I shout out what I think but I do not give a connection that can lead my readers to my point. I should tell them that because I live in the United States, I consider the situation of the United States and the waste here. I think my biggest problem in this paper is that I jumped too far from my point to point. I should give some connections that can lead my readers to my flow.

Put Your Own Naysayer

Naysayer is so important in your writing. You have to have some creditable sources to make your paper more believable. Instead of just putting supports in your paper, you better have something that is oppisite to your claim in your paper and prove why you still have your claim because people may have different opinion on your sources. You have to tell the reasons to show people you can represent your claim in either supportive way or oppisite way. That can let your readers know you are reasonable. Also, that can show your readers your respect because you don't treat them as stupid people but critical individual thinkers.

Hot topic

Sometimes, it is hard to find a topic that can be talked for hours because you do not find a hot topic. Hot topic is topic that people have discussed for long time but have not got a standard answer, such the meaning of life and religion. There is one common thing of hot topics that is philosophy. Philosophy has no answer ,because you can have a hundred kind of answers, if you ask a hundred people. When people do not agree with each other, they will start arguing. They try to convince each other so they will start a long conversation, and that is why this kind of topic can be talked for hours.
