Brand effect
My favorite sport is basketball, so sometimes I go to sport store to buy shorts. A few weeks ago, I went to sprot store to buy a basketball short. When I first thought about buying the short, Nike short was the first product I considered to buy. I was the brand effect. I used to buy Nike sport products because my first basketball shoes were Nike porduct, Jordan XVI. I bought these shoes because my favorite basketball player was Michael Jordan. Since then, I most bought sport equipments from Nike. People have modes. Once they have set up their own modes, they will do the same thing in the same way. That is why companies want to set up brands, make advertisements, and boardcast their slogans. Once people have the memory of their brands, they have big chance to sell more products. That is why the brand is so important.

You did an excellent job of connecting the prompt to what we're discussing in class--nice work. One thing that was interesting to me that you mentioned was how Michael Jordan first "sold" you on Nike. That's a great example of celebrity endorsement.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't chosen an advertisement for Paper 1 yet, you might find a Nike ad. It seems like you already have a lot of good ideas about it, and since it's a brand you understand, it'll be interesting for you to write.
